Comments, compliments and complaints

The Children and Families Service needs to hear from our users as to whether we are meeting your needs and being delivered effectively. The comments, compliments and complaints we receive will be used to improve services and to ensure you receive high quality services. Our complaints procedure is divided into two areas:

Hearing your views - listening to parents and adults

If you consider that things haven't happened as this they should, you should discuss it with the social worker and/or their manager first. If you are not satisfied with the reply and wish to complain, you should follow the complaints link below.

Your Shout - listening to children and young people

There is a separate complaints procedure developed specifically for children and young people. This will provide you with a list of care professionals you can contact. They will listen to your concerns and either help you sort things out or put you in touch with someone who can help.
